Extra Life & Skillz Reunite to Support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Skillz is once again joining forces with Extra Life to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through a mobile esports tournament. The upcoming tournament will run from Saturday, November 14 at 10am PT until Sunday, November 15 at 10pm PT.

Over 10 million kids are admitted to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals every year, and the funds raised by Skillz and Extra Life this weekend will help provide much-needed treatment and support to children in need amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

In April 2020, Skillz and Extra Life raised over $28,000 to help support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and their COVID-19 Impact Fund. In a continuation of this partnership, Skillz and Extra Life are now launching mobile esports tournaments to continue aiding in the fight against COVID-19 and help kids heal.

Skillz is committed to leveraging the power of the mobile gaming community to tackle persistent challenges and support important causes. Through its leading mobile games platform, Skillz has activated thousands of new nonprofit donors during charity tournaments.
